Stake Young Women

On Saturday was the General Young Women Broadcast. Our stake always has a treats before...this year it was a cupcake buffet. Mmmm. They were really good!

Then we watch the broadcast. This is the little movie clip in between speakers:

Afterwords we have a picture of everyone!

Recent YW Projects

It has been since last summer that we did our Young Women bulletin board so we finally re-did it recently. I found an idea on sugardoodle.com for a YW bulletin board to make it look like a window. I kinda tweaked it. OK. Really tweaked it. Pretty much they both resemble a window and other than that they look totally different.

And this week for our mutual activity we made these tiles that said :
"I am a princess~daughter of a Heavenly King."

And last week we played this fun game. Kinda crazy.

Into the Archives-4

3/24/2011

November 2005 at the Andersen's. Brother Andersen LOVES Calvin and Hobbes and has taught us to adore these comics too. While reading it with him one day Sister Andersen came in with the camera. We just so happened to be reading one about Calvin getting his picture taken. We of course had to try his Calvin-ish tricks. How'd we do? Pretty good?

Into the Archives-3

3/17/2011
This was the day KEW was born. February 11 1999.
I don't remember it but I know I was excited. Unfortunately he and mom had to stay in the hospital for 6 days because his glucose levels didn't rise properly. So I would come for a little while but when I had to leave I would cry. I didn't want to leave my brother and mom. Thankfully they did come home soon. Today he is healthy and baseball crazy. (If you don't know what I mean check out his blog.)

Into the Archives-2

Its "Into the Archives Thursday"!
3/10/2011

Since I did a picture of some of my Webster cousins last week, I decided to do something from the Braithwaite side (mom's side). I'm pretty sure this picture was take in July 2003 (maybe even possibly on the 28th if the date on the picture is correct). All of the cousins were visiting Nana, who lives in Utah.

Zachary, KEW, Me and Lexi
Here I am with the Reinstein cousins and my brother KEW. I have fond memories of this day.
I remember that one of us had the great idea of running a lemonade stand. So we went up to Nana's art area and found plenty of paper and coloring supplies and made a great sign.
Next we went to her freezer and pulled out some of her frozen lemonade and put it in a large measuring cup. Then we brought out her plastic toy organizer and put it at the end of the driveway, taped the sign to it and set the lemonade on top and decorated the ground around it with pine cones. And we waited.
We waited through the heat. We waited some more. Then our first costumer...sort of. She said that she would come back later and get some. (she never did) It was so hot that we brought it back into the shade. We did end up with a few costumers! In fact there was one time that so many people came that we had to go raid Nana's freezer again!
This was so long ago (at least it feels like it) that I find it funny that I remember it in detail. I think we ended up using all of Nana's lemonade. But in the end I know we some had money. I don't know how much. I don't know who got it. I just remember we had fun sitting in the heat and getting excited over costumers.

Volleyball Doom

So I was looking through my Young Women pictures from last year and I found this one. Its from stake YW volleyball. I have no idea what was going through my mind when this picture was taken. (No the ball wasn't photoshopped in or anything) I laugh every time I see it. So I thought I'd edit it and add captions. I don't know about you, but I think they are pretty funny.

Into the Archives-1

I have decided to do an "Into the Archives Thursday". Random day I know. But I couldn't wait and there really was no point in waiting. So, every Thursday I will post a picture (or possibly a movie if I'm feeling like it) from my past. It has to be at least 2 years old...but the older the better right? I will also explain the picture in detail to the bet of my abilities.

 3/32011

Today I have picked a picture of a few of my Webster cousins...and Grandpa. I believe it was taken sometime in 2002. We were visiting our Grandparents in Ohio. Here we are in the living room...posing for a picture I suppose. Though its slightly comical.
From top to bottom: my cousin Kyle, me and my cousin Ashli. And over in the corner is Grandpa.

My Big (Movie) Projects of 2010

I have recently done some movie making, or really more like extra long slideshow-putting-together-ing. The first one is of my YW activities in 2010. The second one is of the stake youth pioneer trek 2010. They may be long and boring to you but I wanted to post something that I have done, not about other things that really have nothing directly related to me. So here they are!
