Into the Archives 32~Oh Brother!

10/6/2011

Great pictures of my brothers and I between 2005-2006. It's kind of a coincidence that I was wearing the same shirt in two of the pictures.

The highlight of my childhood was making my brother laugh so hard that food came out his nose.

Into the Archives-12

Because my birthday is next week I figured I should do an ITA post on a past birthday.
Well I have very few pictures of any party or a birthday something so I picked this one. It was from 2006 so that means I was turning...oh let's see...10. Wow that was 5 years ago! Anyway the theme was about monkeys or something. I think the year before it was a jungle theme so I already knew how to decorate! I used ideas from the Family Fun magazine and American Girls Snooze-a-Palooza! I just invited two friends. It was small and simple yet very fun!

A few more pictures!

Into the Archives-7

In December 2006 my Sunday school teachers asked if we wanted to have a class party. Well of course we did! Somehow we convinced them that we should go to Chuck E. Cheese's. My friend Atlanta and I decided to get our picture taken together with some of our coins. I just found it the other day in my stack of things to scrapbook (which never happens) and scanned it. I thought it would make a good ITA post.

Into the Archives-5

 4/1/2011

Yesterday was very busy and the computer was dead half the day so I didn't get around to the Thursday post so here it is a day late.
In 2006 we were sitting in our doctors office when a lady walked in with a small pet carrier. We came to find out that there was a baby squirrel in it. Then she let us (Me, KEW & GRW) hold it. It was the cutest little thing! Anyway, she told us that she worked with the local nature center and helped raise orphan squirrels.

Since then I have started volunteering at the Lakeside Nature Center and now I have held (baby) squirrels, rabbits, snakes etc. I have done a few posts on our family blog about my experiences there:
