Do you remember when you were little and you pretended a balloon was bubble gum? Yeah I think most kids do that some time or another. We are no exception. Come to think of it, I think I still might do it every once in a while... Just kidding! Or am I?

Great pictures of my brothers and I between 2005-2006. It's kind of a coincidence that I was wearing the same shirt in two of the pictures.

The highlight of my childhood was making my brother laugh so hard that food came out his nose.

So I have put a whole lot of family pictures up for ITA and I definitely want to do more action shots but here is another family picture anyway. It was when TPW was only 2 months old (Sept 2005). I was still surrounded by only brothers and I guess by looking at this picture that didn't bother me much.

I see a brother and sister,
sitting over there together,
fighting over a toy,
they just can't seem to see,
their love shining through,
with every smile that they bring.

Next week is TPWs birthday so I figured I would talk about his baby blessing. 

(See I told you I'd choose a happy story this week.)

The top picture is of us with Nana and Scott in our living room. The bottom is of us at church before the blessing. I guess from the timestamps on the pictures the blessing was over a month after he was born. My memories from that age are still a little fuzzy so I don't remember much. But I know I was still wishing for a sister. Little did I know only a few short years later...

But I'll talk about her another time. TPW is a creative little squirt. Well OK he's not so little any more since he's almost 6. (About the age KEW is in these pictures.) But he loves all things cutting/pasting/taping and all that great stuff. Its a very usual occurrence to find the table covered in scraps of paper...

Well blogger was down most of the day yesterday so here is the post that I would have posted.

There is this plastic horse at one of our local grocery stores. And oh my goodness it rocks back and forth. Every kid has to ride it! Once an employee gave us each a token to make it work. 

Anyway this picture was from 2005. I am helping TPW who was only 4 or 5 months old do his ride.

Oh yeah and about a year ago TPW was asking if he could ride it. Mom said no. He kept asking and he ended up getting onto the horse to make his point. I went over to show him that unless you put a quarter into the slot of the box next to the horse it wont work. Then I pressed the button. And it started. Oops. ;-)

November 2005 at the Andersen's. Brother Andersen LOVES Calvin and Hobbes and has taught us to adore these comics too. While reading it with him one day Sister Andersen came in with the camera. We just so happened to be reading one about Calvin getting his picture taken. We of course had to try his Calvin-ish tricks. How'd we do? Pretty good?
