Mini Stories From My iPod-March

A little late but..the latest edition from my iPod:
First of all: I got the app Instagram. If you have an Apple or Android you should totally get it! Its a photo editing and sharing app/account. It has kind of become my instant blogging with my life being busier. Check out my profile here:

 Domino day at the library!

 Rock and Mineral show at the KCI expo center. There were gems, minerals, fossils and rocks everywhere. Although I didn't buy anything, it was very interesting!

 We got to go to the special sneak peek of the exhibit "Science on a Sphere" at Science City. There are many locations world wide where you can find similar exhibits. If you live near one (you can find a list of locations on the website) be sure to check it out!

 For YW one Sunday, sister Beatty made us these "emergency" purses to go with the lesson. It was based off of the story of The Lost Purse as told my Elder Cook.

New! New! New!

Blogging might be addicting. Its a possibility. Here is a clue. I have two new blogs. This first one I have had for a few months but won't be updated all that often. The second one should be updated about every day or so-ish.  The food one is more for my personal purposes but I still want to share. The second it to share with everyone. To understand fully what they are about just read the first posts on each blog.

1st year. Check!

OK so I passed the first year of early morning seminary yeah yeah big deal. But really anyone can do that. You just have to be there 80% of the time or something like that. You don't even have to pay attention really. Case proved by a few people I happen to know. (No names)

The trick is to get the stake presidents award.  These are the requirements for D&C and Church History (which was this years course):

Memorization:
-Memorize all 25 D&C Scripture Mastery scriptures AND re-pass them off at least 1 month apart or fill out a paper for each.
-Memorize current First Presidency and Twelve Apostles in order of seniority.
-Memorize the Latter-day Prophets in order.
Reading:
-Read the entire D&C.
-Read the D&C for 200 days for at least 10 minutes a day.
100% Attendance:
-Make up absences (30 max)
-Have less than 30 tardies/leave earlys
Bonus:
-Read the D&C for 100 consecutive days and get the 100 Day Reading pin. (Which I got and already lost.)

OK. Now I sound like I'm bragging. I'll try not to...but I did that too. The award is a framed certificate and a necklace (I think a pin for boys). The other certificate is just for passing. I did all that for a certificate and a necklace? Man I really must be crazy.

Being Spontaneous

People are always asking "Why did you just do that? That was so random." I just say "I like being spontaneous. It keeps life interesting." 

Well...this was Mondays spontaneous-ness:

So whatdya think?!? Me thinks its pretty awesome!

P.S. If I look sick...its because I am. Uggg you cold/allergies or possibly both.
